Part of the Summer Arts series of workshops at the Vancouver Arts Centre from the City of Albany Arts & Culture team and The Albany Public Library's Library Lounge for summer!

Casual zine workshops for newcomers to zine culture. Make a zine, contribute to a group zine, and leave with copies of your zine!

A zine (/ˈziːn/ ZEEN; short for magazine or fanzine) is most commonly a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via photocopier.

They are DIY and can be about anything! As Rookie Magazine says, zines aren't about rules or knowledge, it's about freedom and empowerment!

At this workshop, you’ll be able to assemble your own zine, and make copies for you to take home at the end of the session.

This is a free workshop for all ages!
