Gemma Cavoli

Gemma was trained at the Victorian College of the Arts and has performed with various theatre companies creating new Australian work. Shortly after graduating in 2006, she secured an Ian Potter Cultural Fund Grant to study Commedia dell’arte in Italy. Gemma performed in Criminology (Malthouse) and Girl Who Cried Wolf for Arena Theatre Company, as well as several independent productions at Melbourne fringe venues including La Mama. More recently, she performed in the one woman show The List for Fragmented Artists, which enjoyed two tours of regional WA. Gemma also works closely with Alucinor Productions, and performed in their short film Absolution, as well as corporate and commercial work. Gemma currently is a teacher of secondary English and Drama, and is keen to further pursue her love of text through the audio platform.
