Book Chat

Monday 2nd March 2020
(Multiple Dates Between Monday 2nd March 2020 & Monday 21st December 2020)

Looking for a friendly and welcoming environment to chat about books? Look no further! Book Chat at the Albany Public Library is your time to come and enjoy spirited conversation about books that you enjoy, or books that irritate you.

Book Chat doesn’t have a set reading list, nor is there any need to book in. If you’re interested in finding out more, feel free to drop in to one of the sessions. All Book Chat sessions are free.

Bookchat is held between 10.00am and 11.30am every second Monday.

The group meets upstairs, in one of the Library's meeting rooms

Tea and light refreshments provided

Tips for enjoying Book Chat

  • Come prepared to talk about something you’ve read. Format isn’t a factor; it can be a book, a journal article or even a talking book that you have enjoyed.
  • Participation isn’t mandatory, you’re welcome to sit and listen, but is heartily encouraged.
  • If you’re already a book club member, then you can view Book Chat as an additional outlet but without the additional required readings!
