Holden Sheppard in conversation with Lupo Pavanello
Past Event
Holden Sheppard was born and bred in Geraldton and is an award-winning author for Young Adults.
When Holden discovered that feelings – especially painful ones – weren’t something boys were supposed to talk about, he began to write his down instead.
At eighteen, he left home, abandoning a career as a fairly average earthmoving labourer to move to Perth and pursue his passion for writing.
Twenty years later, the boy from Geraldton is now a multi-award winning Young Adult author.
His debut YA novel Invisible Boys won the 2018 Fremantle Hungerford Award.
Holden will be in conversation with Lupo Pavanello.
