Felted Fruits Display

Past Event

Felted Fruits - featuring the felted art work of Anne Cochrane

Anne is an Albany local, and a retired seed ecologist who spent 25 years conserving seeds of threatened WA plant species. Her love of fruits and seeds inspires her art work. Anne has used wool felt to illustrate the exquisite beauty of the humble fruit.

Fruits are the vessels within which seeds are held and often transported to new locations. These structures secure the next generation of plants and are the cornerstone of our life on earth. These pieces aim to inspire and educate visitors to nature’s handiwork.
