Current students in Year 11 & 12, TAFE, and University - we want to hear from you!

If you're looking for a dedicated study space that's available when YOU need it, our library has got you covered. After an 18-month renovation, the new study area will allow eligible students to have access to the unmanned space (monitored by CCTV) after the library is closed, via a security tag.

The development of the Study Space is a direct response to community feedback where the need for a safe place for students to meet and study after-hours was identified.

Being positioned close to student accommodation and located in the center of the City makes the space easily accessible; with two public computers (connected to the internet), printing, and free WiFi also available.

Our new study space offers a quiet environment for students, where you can focus on your studies and get ahead in your coursework. Prefer studying in the evening or weekend when the library is closed? You're in luck!

To be eligible for access, students must be registered library members, provide proof they are enrolled students, provide photo ID, and attend an induction session. For students under 18, a parent/guardian must provide written permission and attend an induction session.

Inductions are now conducted as needed--ask at the library front counter.
