Stimulate your child’s imagination and help develop their language and literacy skills with Storytime, bringing books to life with songs and a range of fantastic activities.
Bookings are no longer required for Rhymetime and Storytime! You will still need to book for Splish Splash Storytime.
*Not all sessions continue during school holidays.
Rhymetime
Rhymetime sessions give you and your baby a chance to bounce and sing along to some favourite rhymes while introducing resources that are entertaining and educational.
Sessions are free and typically last 20 minutes. If you would like to know more about Rhymetime, feel free to contact our Youth Services Librarian or book in and come along to a session.

Storytime – Bringing Books to Life
Stimulate your child’s imagination and help develop their language and literacy skills with our Storytime sessions!
Introduce your child to a wide range of awesome books and provide opportunities for your child to socialise with others.
Sessions are free and typically last 30 minutes. We have also introduced an inclusive storytime on the 1st Thursday of each month.

Splish Splash Storytime
Dive in and experience an exciting story time by the pool. Join our library staff in the pool for fun splashy rhymes and stories to share with your little ones while introducing them to the water.
Splish Splash is suitable for babies and toddlers 0-4.

Better Beginnings Bright Tomorrows
The Bright Tomorrows app, developed at the Telethon Kids Institute, aims to assist parents of children aged 0-5 years to support their child to develop the building blocks of these critical skills. The app includes over 1000 tips for activities that parents can do with their child to help them learn and practice their essential life skills. These fun and interactive ideas for learning can be woven into everyday moments like bedtime, bathtime and mealtime.
