The Spydus Mobile app will be turned off on the 31st July 2026. After this date, you will need to use the Spydus Library app instead.
The Spydus Library mobile app is available for Apple iOS and Android devices.
The Spydus Library app allows you to access the library services on your device, anytime, anywhere.
Functionality includes:
• Search for and reserve items
• View loans, reservations, and payments
• Update personal details
• Manage multiple library memberships - including saving your library card's barcode for in-house borrowing
• Save lists of favourite items for later
• “Discover” – reading lists, featured items, recommendations
Download it from Google Play or Apple App Store and search for Albany to get started. Log in with your library barcode number and password.
Come and see us at Digital Drop In on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm if you need help installing and/or deleting apps.
