Sharing misinformation online is on the rise, with many websites and social media accounts set up purely for the purpose spreading "fake news". Some of these sites also double-up on the deception by being scammers at the same time.

Come along and learn:

  • How you can tell if the information you are reading is real
  • How you can tell if photos and videos are real
  • What you can do to assess whether something is fact or fiction
  • How to help children and young people understand what they see and hear
  • How to report fake news to stop it at the source
