The holiday season is set to shine even brighter in the heart of Albany as the highly anticipated Christmas Lights Trail returns for 2023.
The City is delighted to announce the official launch of the trail on Saturday 18 November which has become an annual tradition that ignites the festive spirit throughout the centre of town.
This year, the Christmas Lights Trail will enchant visitors with 10 dazzling installations, each thoughtfully selected to bring the magic of the season to life.
An interactive map designed to integrate with the trail experience will be a welcome addition to the trail this year and significantly enrich the overall engagement and satisfaction for visitors.
This innovative tool will ensure that no magical moment is missed, guiding visitors from one enchanting display to the next and making it easier for explorers to plan their visit in advance.
Mayor of Albany Greg Stocks said that Council was pleased to support the festive installations again.
“It really adds to the festive atmosphere in our community and brings families into the heart of our city which is fantastic to see,” the Mayor said.
“This year’s trail features Australian-themed installations as well as traditional Christmas icons, and something exciting and new as well.”
The Christmas Lights Trail will continue to shine bright until early January 2024.
